Nancy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was employed as a hairdresser with Mane Attraction Salon. Nancy loved her grandkids, gardening and enjoyed sketching and painting.
Survivors include her husband, James Bartelt, Oshkosh; daughter, Lisa (Steve) Cornell, Oshkosh; son Brian Smestad, Oshkosh; mother, Helen Stephan, Oshkosh; brother, William (Marsha) Stephan, DePere; sister, Sandy (Greg) Weigandt, Marietta, GA; four grandchildren, Toni Smestad, Stephan Cornell, Chloe Cornell and Taylor Smestad, all of Oshkosh; two aunts, Mildred Derr, Oshkosh and Jeanette (Mel) Diener, Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Stephan.
Memorial services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church (400 N. Sawyer St) on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 4:00 PM to the time of the memorial service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
