David "Gus" M. GoltzDavid has been a licensed funeral director / embalmer since April 1986, and been with Konrad-Behlman since November 1986. He became a partner in the business in 1991.

David and his wife Amy have two daughters Amanda and Shannon. Dave resides a little north of Oshkosh in the Town of Vinland, as his wife teaches in Appleton. He and his family attends both Christ Lutheran Church and St Mary's Church in Winneconne, WI.

 

Jay R. Schultz - Owner/Funeral Director

Jay R. SchultzJay was born and raised in Clintonville and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1991. He attended UW-Stevens Point and Milwaukee Area Technical College where he earned an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science in 1994. After completing his degree he completed his apprenticeship with Konrad-Behlman. He became a fully licensed funeral director in March of 1995 and has been with the funeral home since.

In May 2011 he became a partner in the business with the retirement of Gary Konrad. He is married to Kristi Kearn Schultz and together they have two children Ella and Charles. He is a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran church where he serves as an usher. He has served as treasurer of Walleyes for Tomorrow-Oshkosh Chapter and is a member of the Oshkosh YMCA. Professionally he is a member of National Funeral Directors Association, and Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association. In his free time he enjoys fishing, deer hunting, turkey hunting, and watching Badger football and basketball.

Alyssa NelsonAlyssa grew up in Markesan, WI and graduated from High School in 2003. She then went on to University of Wisconsin - Whitewater for her undergraduate work and decided to finish college at the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) in West Allis. Alyssa graduated from MATC in 2008 where she was the Sigma Phi Sigma Mortuary Fraternity President. She married Brian Nelson in December of 2013.

Alyssa joined the staff at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes in 2014. Alyssa and her husband currently live in Grand Chute and are members at St Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Little Chute. In her spare time off, Alyssa and Brian enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting and going up north with their dogs, Brutus and Willow.

 

Jacob "Jake" Wege - Licensed Funeral Director

Jacob "Jake" WegeJacob "Jake" resides in Oshkosh. He formerly was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Bear Creek, WI and recently became a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh with his wife Morgan who he married in May of 2016.

Jake loves to spend his away time hunting, fishing and is a sports fanatic. He can often be found in a tree stand in the fall, in an ice shanty in the winter, on his fishing boat in the summer or spending time with his family, friends with his lab Tucker whenever he can.

Tara SicklerTara grew up in the Wittenberg area. After high school she attended UW-Stevens Point, graduating with her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2005. Shortly after, Tara earned her Applied Science Degree from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, IL. She became a Licensed Funeral Director in June 2008, and has been practicing ever since.

Tara joined the staff at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes in April 2015. She is married to Craig Sickler, and they have two children. Tara and her family are members of Peace Lutheran Church, Neenah. She enjoys spending time with her family, being active outside, singing, and golfing with her husband.

 

Matthew "Matt" Thomas - Licensed Funeral Director

Matthew “Matt” ThomasMatthew was born and raised in Oshkosh. After graduation from Oshkosh Lourdes High School in 2012 Matt moved to Milwaukee to continue his education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He began his apprenticeship at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes in the summer of 2014 and graduated from MATC in 2015.

Matt is blessed with a beautiful daughter, Lilahann, is a member of the St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Parish in Oshkosh. Matt enjoys working out and practicing Judo at the YMCA; he currently holds a yellow belt in Judo.

 

Karisa Sievers - Apprentice Funeral Director

Karisa SieversKarisa has been an apprentice funeral director since January of 2016. She graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 2014 and began taking general education classes at Fox Valley Technical College. She will continue on with her education at Fox Valley Tech in fall of 2016, then will move on to start the funeral home based Mortuary Science Program offered by Des Moines Area Community College.

Karisa is a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Oshkosh. She has a pet tarantula named Drake, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding her Harley and going to car/bike shows throughout Wisconsin.

 

Jill (Khrohn) Schlichting

Jill Schlichting began working with the Konrad - Behlman Funeral Homes in September of 2014. She is a native of Oshkosh and graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1993 and went on to the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh where she played Volleyball and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Sales and Marketing.

Jill married Mark Schlichting in June of 1997 and now has two boys, Jacob and Alex. Jill and her family are members of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in Oshkosh where Jill also teaches Religious Education. In her free time Jill likes to spend time with her family, playing sports, coaching her boy's basketball team and refereeing local volleyball matches.
