Donald Winson Pressley, 65 of Oshkosh passed away at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his family on Wednesday July 26, 2006. Don was born in Milwaukee on May 2, 1941, a son of Lytle and Audrey Ahlswede Pressley. He married Barbara Diane Pugh on June 6, 1965 in Wauwatosa. Don was a member of the First Congregational Church. He was the senior program system analyst for Oshkosh Truck Corp. for 34 years. He was a former member and past president of the Lakeshore Kiwanis Club. Don was elected to the Oshkosh City Council, serving for several years, and was elected Deputy Mayor. Don served as the treasurer of the Wisconsin Bike Race Organization. Don is survived by his wife, Barbara, Oshkosh; two daughters, Robin (Joe) Pressley-Keough, of Atlanta, GA; Kara (Bob) Pressley-Mittelstaedt, Winneconne; four brothers, Ronald (Carol) Pressley, River Falls, WI; David (Karen) Pressley , Stillwater, MN; Terry (Nels) Pressley, Minneapolis, MN; Gary (Lisa) Pressley, Cottage Grove, MN; one sister, Virginia (James) Berren, Winter, WI; mother-in-law, Wilma Pugh, Ripon; Brother-in-law, Ronald (Judi) Pugh, Neshkoro, WI; nieces, nephews; and special friends, Greg, of Minneapolis; and Richard of Mesa, AZ. Don was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Donald Justin Winson D.J. Pressley. A memorial service celebrating Dons life will be on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Noon at First Congregational Church (137 Algoma Blvd.) family and friends may call at the church on Saturday form 10:00 AM to the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
