Enrique Enriquez

May 28, 1970 — September 2, 2022

Enrique Enriquez Sr., age 52, of Oshkosh, passed away at his home after a yearlong battle with cancer, surrounded by his wife and family on Friday September 2nd,2022. He fought like a warrior and still kept his sense of humor. He was born May 28th, 1970, to Jose and Elida Enriquez in Milwaukee, WI. He married Valonee Johnson on August 26th,2022 after almost 9 years of love and adoration. It was this love that his heart chose to relocate to Oshkosh and create new adventures with his soul mate, touching many lives on the way. He worked as a shipping clerk at Castle Pierce Manufacturing, making the work place fun even if they weren't Kansas City Chief fans. He would be heard singing all genres of music and engaging coworkers. He was a hard worker and always lending a helping hand.

Enrique graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee 1988. Had love and respect for life long friends; especially the B.K. posse. He enjoyed bowling, paintballing, billiards, kickball and darts. He always knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face and was there when you needed him, you became his family. Whether he was with his family or at work, he was always making the best out of life, took things in stride and was quite the jokester.

Enrique was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and made sure everyone knew it. He had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed singing karaoke no matter where he was. A few of his favorites were Toby Keith, Elvis, Imagine Dragons and Zac Brown Band. He had such an infectious personality, he was the life of the party and made sure everyone joined in and had a great time. He was a light in everyone’s lives and made sure to show it during holidays. Decorating and dressing up in costumes for Halloween and Christmas were his favorites with his wife, whether it was at home or at the campsite. He was very creative and had a vivid imagination, tried to out do each year! Even won 2nd place for best decorated site. He lived for country rides, get togethers where he was "grill master", camping trips and day adventures with his family.

Enrique's legacy will live on through all that loved him, especially his father, Jose (Eva), father-in-law Ron and mother-in-law Dona, his wife, Valonee; children, Miranda, Elio, Enrique Jr., Rebecca (Adam), Alexander, and Brother, Jose Jr. (Theresa); and sisters, Maria (Segundo), Olivia, Frances, Elida (Leo) and Cecilia (Steve); and many nephews and nieces, cousins and aunts and uncles and his precious grandchildren Nevaeh and Violet.

Enrique is preceded in death by his loving mother, Elida.

A funeral service will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes (402 Waugoo Ave Oshkosh, WI) on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 3pm. A visitation will be held from 12PM until the time of service.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the 7th and 9th floor at Froedtert Advanced Care Cancer Center and Castle Pierce Manufacturing for all that they did during this time.
