Lorraine H. Ruedinger

Lorraine H Ruedinger, 88, of Oshkosh passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at her residence after a brief bout with cancer. Lorraine was born on August 12, 1917 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Frank and Cora Jones Dittmer. Lorraine was married to August M Ruedinger who preceded her in death in 1973.Lorraine had been a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Oshkosh. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and spending time with her family. Survivors include three sons, Larry (Ginny Sommers) Ruedinger, LeRoy (Patricia) Ruedinger, Roger (Claudia) Ruedinger; two daughters, Barbara Bottkol-Patrie, Nancy (Richard) Muraski; one brother, Norman Dittmer; twelve grandchildren, Anne (Greg) Grahl, Katherine (Matt) Jaeger, Susan (Brian) Lamers, Lisa (Jeff) Foord-Markofski, Victoria Patrie, Kristopher Patrie, Paul (Amy) Ruedinger, Robert Ruedinger, Lori (Bob) Levonowicz, Regina Ruedinger, Scott (Joy Airola) Ruedinger, Christan (Jennifer) Ruedinger; eight step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; fifteen step great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Ursula Dittmer, Lorraine Dittmer of Topeka, KS, Helen Dittmer of Saugus, MA, Helen Ruedinger and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by one grandson, Billy Lahaie; one great grandson, Kolbe Foord; five brothers, Samuel (her twin), Franklin, Myron, Ralph and William Dittmer; three sisters, Dorothy Nielson, Florence Betts and Ruth Archambault; one step great grandson, Andrew Lind and a special friend Vern LaBudde.A memorial service for Lorraine will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St Peters Catholic Church, 435 High Ave, with Fr. Robert Kollath officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 9:30 AM until the service time. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.Lorraines family would like to thank the Affinity Hospice Staff for the care that they have shown. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
