Patricia M. (Drager) Penzenstadler of Oshkosh, WI, age 71, died peacefully on Saturday, January 24 at home. She was born March 19, 1943 in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Erwin A. Drager & Mary I. (Keohane) Drager Laatsch. She married her wonderful & loving husband, Charles R. Penzenstadler on November 10, 1962 at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death September 15, 2009. They met in second grade at St. Vincents Grade School in Oshkosh and continued on through High School together. They enjoyed 46 wonderful years of marriage. God sent another angel, Raymond K. Ulvenes, when they met on a mission trip to New Orleans. Pat & Ray married on December 27, 2014. Pat was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.Pat was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in Oshkosh. She attended Oshkosh High School, graduating in 1961. Pat worked at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh from 1962-1965 in the Departments of Education and Career Placement office. She then took time off to raise her three children and worked seasonally at Miles Kimball. In 1981 she returned to the University and worked at the Facilities Management Center/Buildings & Grounds Department until her retirement in July of 1998. Pat enjoyed many activities over the years such as golf, traveling, racquetball, scuba diving, camping, and country line dancing. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels, St. Raphael's fish frys, Sunday mass coffee & donuts, mission trips and church dances. Pat loved spending time with her loving family, especially her seven beautiful grandchildren. Pat is survived by her husband, Raymond Ulvenes, 3 children and spouses, Rick & Laurie Penzenstadler of Centennial, CO, Kristine & John Kubasta of Oshkosh and Kathy & Sam Ford of Mundelein, IL, her grandchildren, Rachel & Danny Penzenstadler, Kathryn, Luke & Leah Kubasta, and Kaitlin & Ben Ford, her sister & brother-in-law, Judy & Bob Stueber, two brothers & sister-in-law, Steve & Barb Drager and Mike Drager, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary & Karen Penzenstadler, all of Oshkosh, her nephews, Rob (Pam) Stueber, and Tim (Christy) Stueber of Oshkosh, Bill (Rhonda) Stueber of Oviedo, FL, Andy Drager and Bryan (Stephanie) Drager of Oshkosh, Jim (Lisa) Penzenstadler of Gahanna, OH, Paul (Sue) Penzenstadler of Oshkosh, and a niece, Debbie (Mitch) Ward, of Meriden, Ct. She is further survived by many other relatives.Pat was preceded in death by her dear husband, Charles, a stillborn daughter, Mary Rose, her mother, Mary Drager Laatsch, father Erwin A. Drager, and her step-father Raymond M. Laatsch.A mass of Christian burial will be held at 6PM on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 830 Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh with Father Doug LeCaptain officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 4PM until the time of the Mass. Burial will be next to her beloved husband of 46 years, Charlie, in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh the following morning (Friday, January 30, 2015) at 11:00 AM. Those attending the burial are invited to meet at the Konrad Behlman Funeral Home, West Side (100 Lake Pointe Dr.) at 10:30 AM to proceed to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic church in Oshkosh. Pat was one of the most amazing, compassionate, generous, and loving people you could ever meet, and her memory will be forever cherished by those she left behind. She touched the lives of many, and will be deeply missed.
