Robert "Bob" Earl Peterson

Robert “Bob” E. Peterson, age 80, of Oshkosh, died on Saturday November 24, 2018 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on December 27, 1937. On May 23, 1959 he married Janet Viegut.
Bob was raised on the family farm and farming remained in his blood even after he moved to the city. He was still talking about helping work the fields even in his last days of life. Bob was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was a delivery truck driver for Coca Cola for 37 years where his gift to gab and ability to talk to complete strangers made him many friends. He enjoyed watching the Brewers and the Badgers and loved spending time with his family especially during the holidays and his specialized themed birthday parties. His love of his great-granddaughter Maddie was unmatched and she was the apple of his eye and he would do anything for her.
He is survived by his wife Jan, his children Darcy Devens, Paula(Jeff) Justus, Scott(Mindy) Peterson, his grandchildren Adam Devens, Eric(Jenna) Devens, Emma Devens, Derik(Whitney) Justus, Brett(Tricia)Justus, Allison Justus, Mike Mularski, Rebecca Mularski, Lindsay Mularski, and great granddaughter Maddie Devens, an aunt Rachel Moore and many cousins, nieces, nephews, in laws and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Ervin, his mother Frances Edwards, and his step-father Harry Edwards.
Funeral services for Bob will be held on Saturday December 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Greg Koepsell officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A memorial is being established in Bob’s name.
