Adam Michael Bauer, age 30, of Winneconne, died unexpectedly due to a medical condition, Wednesday, April 26, 2017. He was born in Neenah to Steven and Susan (Spanbauer) Bauer on September 26, 1986. Adam married Amanda Wing on October 7, 2012.
Adam worked for Winnebago County, and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Nekimi.
Adam is survived by his wife, Amanda, his son, Jacob and a child expected in fall 2017. He was a devoted husband and father who adored spending time with family. Adam never missed a chance to go on bike rides with his son or a family trip to the park. He had a strong moral compass and was a voice of reason for many.
He is further survived by his parents: Steven and Susan Bauer; his brother: Ben (Sheryl) Bauer; his grandparents: Don and Diane Bauer; his father and mother in-law: Rod and Lori Wing; his brother-in-law: Brad Wing; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his brother: Joseph; his paternal grandmother: Betty Bauer; his maternal grandparents: George and Jeanette Spanbauer; and his uncles: Bobby and Dick Spanbauer.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, April 30th, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in the town of Nekimi, with Rev. James Reiff officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr.) on Saturday, April 29th, and on Sunday, April 30th, at the church from 1:30PM until the time of service.
