Adeline M. Steinhilber

Adeline M. Steinhilber, age 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh with her nieces Jan and Deb “The Girls” by her side. She was born on April 19, 1927, to the late Fred and Clara (Hirte) Schmidt. Adeline married Robert Steinhilber on August 11, 1951, in Oshkosh. 

Adeline enjoyed a successful career with Mueller Potter Drug from 1946 through 1996. She and her late husband Bob loved taking walks and going to morning breakfast. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband especially in later years to Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada. Visits with her sisters were also very important to her which always included a stop at Kwik Trip for bananas and donuts. 

Adeline is survived by her sister, Alice Grunske and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Steinhilber; parents, Fred and Clara Schmidt; brother, Carlton (Carol) Schmidt; sisters: Mildred Schmidt, Verna (Irv) Wesenberg, Thelma (Norma) Schmude, Jeanette (Zig) Lugoski, and Geraldine (Jack) Miller. 

A funeral service for Adeline will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh with Rev. John Dorn officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park. 

A special thanks to everyone at Evergreen who found Adeline a joy to care for, so much so that they gave her the nick name Addie.
