On January 29th Adrian (Witkowski) Williams, infant son of Alexandria Witkowski and Nikita (Red) Williams peacefully went from the arms of his loved ones here into the arms of his loved ones in heaven. On July 8, 2008, Adrian came into this world very early in his moms pregnancy and was born at just 26 weeks, weighing only 1 lb 7oz. It was hard to imagine how anyone so tiny could survive but Adrian had a real fighting spirit and though there were many obstacles along the way and times the doctors did not think he would make it through another day, he did. In the short time that he was here he touched the hearts and lives of not only his family and their friends, but all of the doctors and nurses who cared for him and hundreds of people he never even met but who prayed for him from the day he was born. As time went on the obstacles and setbacks became greater and though Adrian kept fighting as long as he could, God had other plans for this beautiful child. Though we may not understand the plan, we are comforted knowing he is at home in the arms of the angels. Adrian is survived by his parents, Alei and Nikita, Grandparents Jerry Witkowski, Kris and Doug Peterson, and Nancy Williams, Great Grandfather Bob Ross, Great Great Grandmother Ruth Ross, his Aunts and Uncles, Hannah and Morgan Peterson, Melvina Williams, and Demmonyon Williams, Great Aunts and Uncles, Steve and Deb Kosmer; Karla and David Willeford, Tim and Dee Dee Paris, Paula Merten, John and Janet Ross and many loving cousins. He was preceded in death by Great Grandparents, Robert Ross, Martha Williams, Jerome and Betsy Witkowski, Aunt Rhonda Witkowski, Uncle Lacola Williams and his cousin Shawn Schmitz. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb 2, 2009 at 6 p.m, at Konrad Behlman Funeral home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive with Pastor Martin Ruge officiating. Friends may greet the family from 4 pm to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of the people who provided love and support to Adrian and his family during this difficult time including the staff at Meriter Hospital, University Childrens Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House in Madison.
