Alan Matthew Toney, age 36, of Oshkosh, died on Friday, December 8, 2017. He was born on June 4, 1981 in Oshkosh a son of Leslie K. Jacobson and Matthew Toney.
He was a graduate of Oshkosh North High School. Since his youth he loved skateboarding. He was an avid movie-goer, loved grilling out with family and friends, was a diehard Green Bay Packer fan, loved traveling, but above all he cherished his time with his son and best friend Thomas.
He is survived by his son Thomas and Thomas’ mother Jennifer Riha, his mother Leslie Jacobson (Andy Wilharms), one sister Mindy (Chad) Wilderman, his maternal grandmother Susan (Lee) Pesch, step brothers, Alex and Benjamin, aunts, uncles, cousins, his nephew and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Boos, his maternal grandfather, his paternal grandparents, and his cousin Travis Promer.
A memorial service for Alan will be held on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Alan’s family would like to send special thanks out to Alan’s good friends that have hung in there with him, showing their love and support and especially those who helped to convince him to make his own decision in entering rehab.
