Albert Frederick Purath Iii

Albert F. Purath III, age 82, passed away on Monday July 11, 2022 at Edenbrook.  He was born on December 22, 1939 in Chicago a son of Albert F. and Bernice S. Purath.  On January 27, 1962 he married Roberta Jean Seegert in Elmhurst, Illinois.
Al owned and operated Purath Pontiac Buick in Oshkosh with his sons. Upon retirement he and his wife moved to Florida.
He is survived by his wife, his children Jim(Lori) Purath, Alan(Laura) Purath, Lynn(Michael) Kramer, Steven(Cheryl) Purath, nine grandchildren Christopher (Amanda) Purath, Stephanie (Jacob) Pearce, Melissa (Alex) Moen,  Jessica (Spencer) Foth,  Ryan Purath, Brett (Chloe) Kramer, , Scott Kramer, Samantha Purath, Jordan Purath, six great-grandchildren Katherine, Lauren, Brinley, Raelyn, Lance, Sadie, and two nephews Andrew and Adam.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Glenn Purath. Private memorial services will be held.
A memorial has been established to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Edenbrook and Mercy Medical Center.
