Albert Lee Binder died on Friday April 15, 2016 at the age of 85. Albert is survived by his wife, Karen (Weber) of 53 years, his daughters Laura Dunn of Florissant, Missouri, Jill(Doug) Paull of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, Kerri(Russ) Steinhorst of Appleton as well as a sister Agnes "Red" Schumacher and nephew Kurt of Las Vegas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Mitchell, Ian, Collin, Bryan, Rachel, Kate, Jack and Faith, as well as other relatives and friends. Albert was born March 11, 1931, in Oshkosh to parents Pauline(Goerlitz) and Albert Binder. He graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1949. He spent four years in the Air Force serving in Korea as an aircraft mechanic. In his younger years, Albert loved to fish. He was an active member of the YMCA since 1976. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling and watching Green Bay Packer football. His family and friends will always remember him as a gentle, kind man who loved his family. Albert's family is so thankful for the kind and caring staff at Mercy Medical Center and Evergreen. Per the wishes of the family, the services will be held privately.
