Alec Scott Bauman, 17 of Oshkosh, died Monday June 14, 2010 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on February 21, 1993 in Neenah, WI. Alec was a student at North High School and had been employed by Team Winnebagoland. He was a member of the St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Parish in Oshkosh. Alec loved motorsports including, jet skiing, four wheeling, and snow mobiling.He is survived by his parents, Mark and Kecia Bauman of Oshkosh; sister, Jillian Bauman of Oshkosh; grandparents, Ken and Sue Bauman of Oshkosh, Denis and Marie Berghauer of Oshkosh, Buddy and Rita Perkins of Austin, TX; great grandmothers, Mildred Bauman of Oshkosh, Margie Schargois of Vinton, LA, Deloris Rogers of Tyler, TX; numerous uncles and aunts, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Julie Berghauer, grandmother, Evelyn Berghauer, and aunt, Kari Berghauer.A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Alec on Saturday June 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church - St. Mary Site with Fr. Tom Reynebeau officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside on Friday from 4-7 PM and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass. A memorial has been established.The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center's Critical Care Unit for their loving care of our son, brother, and grandson.We say goodbye to a wonderful son and brother.
