Alice H. Konrad

Alice H. Konrad, 96, of Oshkosh died on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Bethel Home. Alice was born on September 12, 1914 in Oshkosh the daughter of Otto and Anna Bowen Harrmann. She married Robert Konrad in Oshkosh on October 25, 1941. Robert preceded her in death on November 23, 1986.Alice was a member of First English Lutheran Church, the Altrusa Club and enjoyed going to the cottage to go fishing. Alice was an interior designer and owned and operated Konrad Interiors with her husband, Bob.Survivors include her grandchildren, Kathrine Kate Konrad of Milwaukee, Matthew Konrad of Oshkosh, and Robert Konrad of Madison; her daughters-in-law, Marcia Konrad of Oshkosh, and Jeannette Konrad of Van Dyne; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; sons, Stephen and Gregory Konrad; brothers, Dale and Lester Harrmann; and a sister, June Harrmann.The funeral service will be on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from Noon to 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Ellenwood Cemetery.
