Alice L. Partyka

Alice L. Partyka, age 91, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Edenbrook of Oshkosh, with her family by her side. She was born on August 30, 1929, in Wakefield, Michigan to the late John and Ida (Orling) Johnson.

Alice graduated from Duluth Business University in 1948, and after worked for the Ironwood Daily Globe as a secretary. Alice was united in marriage to Donald Partyka on April 19, 1952. After 66 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on July 1, 2018.

Don and Alice moved to Oshkosh in 1968, where she worked at the Oshkosh Northwestern for 23 years. They were members of St Raphael’s the Archangel Catholic Church. She enjoyed mall walking with her husband, and knitting. She loved spending time with family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a caring person who was always concerned about others.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Diane (Paul) Bednarek; granddaughter, Nicole Bednarek; two great grandchildren, Griffin and Everleigh. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl (Eleanor) Johnson.

Private family services will be held.
