Alvin Eric Larson, age 88, of Oshkosh, passed away on June 1, 2017. He was born on July 7, 1928 to the late Eric and Amanda (Schultz) Larson in Toronto, South Dakota. Alvin married Wilma Kellerman on October 1, 1955, and their marriage was blessed with four children.
Alvin served in the U.S. Army. He later worked as a pipefitter at Bergstrom Paper and Gladfelter Company of Neenah. Alvin was a member of First English Lutheran Church. He was an active member at EAA and was recognized for 38 continuous years of volunteer service.
He is survived by his two sons: Darwin and Perry (Doreen) Larson; two daughters: Diane (Mick) Warning and Peggy (Richard) Couture; his brother: Virgil (Rose) Larson; his sister: Irene Clark. He is further survived by seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Wilma; his parents; and his sisters, Wilma Bolek, and Agnes Stahlsom.
A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Saturday June 3, 2017 at Konrad-Behlman Westside (100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh, WI 54904) with Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. A Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
