Alvin Sanvidge

Alvin Bud Sanvidge, 88, of Oshkosh, died at Care Partners-Winneconne on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. He was born in Oshkosh a son of the late Alvin and Eleanor (Lentz) Sanvidge.Al had been employed as a Tool and Die Cutter at Oshkosh Truck retiring in 1985. He was a member of the UAW Local #578. He was also a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and there Lutheran Laymens League. Bud enjoyed metal detecting and collected the coins and jewelry he found.Survivors include his brother, Carl Sanvidge of Red Wing, MN; two nieces Patricia Allend-dejung and Lucinda Sanvidge; cousins, Lois (John Jack) Haskamp of Oshkosh and Bill Sanvidge; special daughters Sharon Wilkie and Karen (Marvin) Bongert and their children MarinaRose and McKenzie. Bud was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Mildred Sanvidge and a special friend Helen Wilkie.Funeral Services for Alvin will be held in private. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A big thank you is extended to all the staff of Care Partners of Winneconne and Ascera Care Hospice for taking such good care of Al.
