Amanda J. West

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Amanda Jean West, of Oshkosh age 23. After a long hard struggle with addiction to drugs, Amanda passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Amanda received her high school diploma and attended Oakwood Middle School, Traeger Elementary and Oshkosh West High School. Amanda played some basketball, sang in the choir and made the honor roll twice. Amanda worked at Culver’s in Oshkosh and Midwest Specialty Products in Winneconne.

Amanda loved Stitch, Harry Potter, swimming, boating, hiking, paddle boarding, listening to music, cats and dogs. Amanda had a big heart and showed a lot of concern to struggling people. Special thanks to Kim Speaks, her supervisor (work mom). Amanda will be deeply missed by her mother Sandra West (Paul Parman) of Oshkosh, her father Steven West of Hancock, her brother Austin West of Oshkosh, grandmother Mary Ann Kasuboski of Omro, God parents Vicki, Jacki and Tereasa. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were touched by Amanda.

Private Services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes.

Amanda was my sunshine, even on her darkest days. I love you more- Mom, to the moon and back.
