Andrew J. "Andy" Hasley, 83 of Oshkosh, died Friday April 9, 2010 at Bethel Home. He was born in Oshkosh on February 17, 1927 son of Walter A. and Anna W. Christensen Hasley. He married Diana R. Skidmore in Oshkosh on July 19, 1952. She preceded him in death on February 7, 2007. Andy was employed by the Wisconsin Public Service Corp. from 1955 until his retirement in 1989 and belonged to the WPS Quarter Century Club. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ. Andy had served his country in the U.S. Army and had been stationed in Japan. He had been a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Centennial Lodge 208.He is survived by his son, Jeffrey (significant other-Marcia Couillard) Hasley of Oshkosh; twin daughters, Rene Freimark and Rochelle (special friend-John Johnston) Freimark both of Appleton; sister, Ruth A. (John) Kobinsky of Neenah, WI; grandchildren, Stephanie Rupple, Adam Rupple, Jeffrey A. (significant other-Erica Hansen) Hasley; great grandson, Justin Hansen; nieces and nephews, Tom, Jack Kobinsky, and Karen Wojahn. He was preceded in death by a niece, Jane Kobinsky.Private services are being planned. A memorial has been established.Andrew is now with his loving wife, who he truly loved and longed to be with again; to be with God and holding hands together again. Amen.We will miss you, father. Also, a very loving "thank you, with love" to Marcia R. Couillard, who always made Dad smile. He always looked forward to her visits and seeing her again. Thank you, Grandpa, for paving the way for all of us. You will forever be in my prayers and dreams. You made it possible for me to become the person that I am, and have helped show me the way to become the man I am meant to be.
