Anna Becker

Anna Becker, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 19, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on April 11, 1922 in Croatia to Frederick and Julia (Sippl) Tschurtz. She was married to Henry Becker on September 13, 1953 in Austria.Anna loved working in her garden, playing cards, and doing her crafts; which included knitting, crocheting, and making quilts. She was a family woman and would always make sure that each and every child, grandchild, great and great-great grandchild was taken care of. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always had a open spot in her house for people to visit.She is survived by her children, Lenka Kleess, Margie (Johann) Bayer, Irene (Joseph) Geisinger, Rudi Beker, Nell (Jeff) Wade, Mick (Pam) Becker and daughter-in-law Sandy Becker; sister, Marie Rengert; 20 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 20 great-great grandchildren.Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Becker; brother, Robert Tschurtz; sons, Willi and Johann Becker; and son in law Philip Kleess.A Catholic Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish- St. Peter Site (435 High Ave.) with Fr. James Jugenheimer officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday night at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes Eastside from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.The family would like to send a special thank you to Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, WI for going above and beyond for Anna and the family, and to Irene and Joe Geisinger for their love, care, and support for the last nine years.
