Anna Olga Engelmann

Anna O. Engelmann, 85, of Oshkosh died Thursday January 22, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born January 26, 1923 in Unteralba, Germany a daughter of Theodor and Helene Kister. Anna married Ludwig Engelmann on Feb. 5, 1944 in Germany. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2006. Anna was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She worked for many years at C. A. Neuberger Company. Anna was an excellent seamstress and cook. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her survivors include a son Gunther (Mary) Engelmann of Oshkosh; a daughter Karen (Jim) Marshall of Cantonment, FL; seven grandchildren Eric, Ann, Kristine, Brian, Lisa, Nathan, and Keith; eight great-grandchildren Alec, Kyle, Cole, Carson, Isabelle, Emily, Henna, and Jack; and a son-in-law Dennis Greeninger. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter Heidemarie Greeninger, and a brother Kurt Kister. A funeral service for Anna will be held Saturday January 24, 2009 at 11:30 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-East, Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday at the Waugoo Ave. funeral home from 9:30 AM until the service. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial is being established in Annas name. Annas family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Park View Health Center.
