Ardine M. Loewen

Ardine M. Loewen, age 81, passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, January 8, 2016. She was born on March 15, 1934 in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Jungbauer) Tod. She was united in marriage on September 20, 1952 in Oshkosh. Their marriage was blessed with four children. Ardine loved raising her children and being a homemaker. She enjoyed reading recipes, cooking, going out to dinner and shopping. Ardine enjoyed taking bus trips with friends to the casinos.She is survived by her husband, Victor of 62 years, four children, Victoria (Tom) Last of Oshkosh; Gail (Dave) Holschbach of Manitowoc; Michael (Heidi) Loewen of Omro and Kathleen (Matt) Steffen of Oshkosh. Seven grandchildren, Shannon (Jason) Desrosiers, Brandon Berger, Brittany and Dustin Johnson, Matthew, Taylor and Trina Loewen; three great-grandchildren, Caiden, Connor, Rylee and one niece, Laura Tod. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Reginald and Joseph Tod.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.Our family would like to thank the 2nd Floor nursing staff at Mercy Medical Center, the Affinity Visiting Nurses and Hospice, especially nurse Vicky for their care and concern given to Ardine. Your kindness will never be forgotten. You may be gone but will never be forgotten.
