Arlene A. Luebke

Arlene A. Luebke, 87, of Appleton, formerly of Oshkosh died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born August 15, 1926 a daughter of the late Andrew and Alice Phillip.Arlene married Arnie Luebke on June 3, 1944 and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1980. She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.Arlene is survived by a son Jim (Mary) Luebke of Davenport, IA; a son-in-law Fred (Marcia) Born of Black Creek, WI; five grandchildren, Janet (Pete) Cummings of Davenport, IA, Jeanne (Chris) Batman of Crystal Lake, IL, Michael (Wendy) Born Appleton, James (Michelle) Luebke Jr. of Davenport, IA, and Greg (Timothy Hennes) Born of Appleton; and six great-grandchildren, Jonah, Isaac, Kylie, Will, Breanne, and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Margaret Allender; and two brothers, Frank Neustifter and Herbert Neustifter.A funeral service for Arlene is being held Monday, June 16, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Rev. Rich Cole officiating. Visitation will be held Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
