Arline passed peacefully on July 5, 2021. She was born on May 11, 1934, the daughter of the late Marie and Edward Schroeder in Oshkosh. Arline married Ralph W. Hoeft on April 28, 1956, at Grace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
Aline was employed at Mike’s Grill and Hughes Home Made Chocolates in Oshkosh. After retiring she enjoyed caring for children in her home, especially her nieces, nephews, and neighborhood kids. She loved playing cards and board games with them and took daily trips to the park.
Both Arline and Ralph enjoyed numerous years of ballroom and square dancing. They also enjoyed socializing in various dance clubs and playing cards with family and friends.
Surviving is her daughter, Debbie (friend Jim); siblings: Robert (Colleen) Schroeder, John (Bonnie) Schroeder, Ken Stadler, Shirley Roeder, Joyce (Willy) Krepline, Grace (Carl) Strum; sister-in-law, Dorothy Schroeder; and many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hoeft; brothers: Clarence, David, Richard; sisters: Betty, Catherine, Delores, Alvina; and nephews: Tim, Scott, Jim, and Mike.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh with Rev. Don Deike officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday from 10:30 am until the time of service. Private burial will be held at Peace Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
