Arthur Bernie Stueber passed away, at the age of 73, after a long battle with terminal Pancreatic Cancer at Mercy Medical Center on August 26, 2015 at 11:51a.m surrounded by his family.Bernie is preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann (Bartels) Stueber, his father, Arthur A. Stueber (Step-mother, Genieve Lehn), Mother, (Marion R. Bernhard) Stueber and grandparents, Bernard & Leta (Ludwig) Stueber and Joe & Anna (Youngwirth) Bernhard. Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Sue (Nicholson) Stueber. Bernie is lovingly remembered by his three sons, Kenneth (Lonna) Stueber of Neenah, Pudge (Connie) Stueber of Berlin, Tim (Marlene) Stueber of West Covina, CA. Stepsons, Walter (Brenda) Sundquist of Oshkosh and Daryl (Necy) Sundquist of Maricopa, Arizona, and Bobby (Michele) Sundquist of Green Bay. Stepdaughters, Valerie (Dale) Mielke of Berlin and Christine (Geoffrey) Hanson of Oshkosh. He had a very close relationship with his siblings, John (Pat) Stueber, Jim (Linda) Stueber, and Beatrice (Marvin) Hintz all of Oshkosh. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Bernie was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on November 2, 1941. He was born and raised as a farm boy. He attended Oshkosh High School. He entered the Army Reserves at age 23 for approximately 6 years. During that time he worked as a dairy farmer and a milk hauler. He bought his own milk truck after leaving the military and did that for 8 years. He then bought his family farm and worked that for 11 years. In 1983, he began working at Oshkosh Truck where he spent 27 years until his retirement in 2011.Bernie enjoyed gardening, hunting, raising chickens and dogs, casino runs, computer gaming and spending time with his family.The visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes & Crematory, 402 Waugoo Avenue, Oshkosh on Aug. 30 from 3-6PM The funeral service will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes & Crematory, 402 Waugoo Avenue, Oshkosh on Aug. 31 at 11AM with Rev. Jim Jugenheimer from Most Blessed Sacrament Parish officiating. Entombment is to follow at Lakeview Memorial, 2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh. A wake will take place at the Marine Corps League, 4715 Sherman Road, Oshkosh following services.Condolences for the family may be offered online at www.konrad-behlman.com
