August A. Juedes

August A. Juedes, Sr., age 65 of Oshkosh, died at his residence on Monday, March 24, 2008. August was born on July 11, 1942 in Oshkosh, the son of August and Vila Tews Juedes. He worked as a machinist at Mercury Marine and was an Army Veteran. He enjoyed gardening and was a fan of automobile racing. August is survived by two sons, August Gus Juedes Jr. of Omro and Steve Juedes of Oshkosh; one daughter, Christine (Brian) Quinn of Oshkosh; a loving brother and sister, Daniel B. (Mary Taylor) Juedes Sr. of Appleton and Sharon V. Pongratz of Oshkosh; eight grandchildren, Travis, Dalas, Dalton, Kaitlin, Anthony, Gwendolyne, Cody Juedes, and Conner Quinn; two nephews, Daniel Juedes Jr. and Greg Juedes; and two nieces, Susan Juedes and Debbie Pongratz. He is preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Huffmann. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 10-11 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside) with a memorial service at 11:00 AM with Chaplin Bob Lantz officiating. Augusts family would like to thank the caregivers from Heartland Hospice for the loving care he received from them.
