Barbara A. Sonnleitner

Barbara Ann Sonnleitner, age 71 of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015. Barbara was born in Oshkosh the daughter of the late George and Ruth (Pratsch) Boeder. She was united in marriage to Robert Sonnleitner on June 26, 1965 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Their marriage was blessed with three sons.Barbara graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1961, and furthered her education with a nursing degree from Mercy School of Nursing graduating in 1964. She worked at Oshkosh Care Center, Arborview Manor and VNA. Barbara enjoyed knitting, reading, puzzles and most of all spending time with family and grandchildren. Barbara was very proud of her family and grandchildren, whom she loved more than life.Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert of 49 years; sons, Paul (Kari) Sonnleitner of Hopewell Junction, New York; Dr. Michael (Amy) Sonnleitner of Menasha and Matthew (Theresa) Sonnleitner of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren, William, Allie, Annika, Luke, Sydney, Gianna and Mya; brothers and sisters-in-law: Barry Ott, of Michigan, James (Sue) Sonnleitner, Donald (Diane) Sonnleitner, Andy (Christina) Sonnleitner, Allen (Nancy) Sonnleitner all of Oshkosh. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Susan Ott.Private services will be held and inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. Memorials may be directed to Oshkosh Humane Society.A special thank you to Dr. Thomas Klinkhammer, Shelley, Denise and all who worked at Michael D.
