Barbara Ann Krause

Barbara A. Krause, age 77, of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday April 23, 2015 at her residence. She was born on July 12, 1937 in Oshkosh a daughter of Frank and Theresa Jungwirth. On June 27, 1959 she married K. David Krause in Oshkosh.She was an active member of St. Raphaels Catholic Church. She worked as a receptionist at Spine Therapy, Manpower Temporary Services, and as a Bank Teller at First Wisconsin for many years. She was the first woman on the church council at Good Samaritan Church. She was active in the Oshkosh West Booster Club and enjoyed attending all her grandchildrens sporting and musical events. She was a board member of the Sociable Dance Club and the chair of all Oshkosh High School Class of 1955 reunions. Barbara will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She will always be remembered as a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother and dear friend to many. Barbaras life revolved around her family, grandchildren and many friends. She took pleasure in welcoming anyone into her home or cottage, always serving others with a smile on her face. She always put others before herself and touched many lives. The family would like to thank all of the care givers who tended to her in her last weeks.She is survived by her husband K. David Krause, one son John(Beckie) Krause, Kay(Jim) Rauchle, Kara(Mitch) Krause-Stoler, of Dallas, TX. Jill(Jeff) Jones of Stevens Point, her grandchildren Gina Krause, Trent Krause, Carly Rauchle, Natalie Rauchle, Reid Rauchle, Jack Jones, Jarett Jones, Jayden Jones, Jenna Jones, two brothers Thomas(Diane) Jungwirth, Greg(Renate) Jungwirth, two sisters Joan(Roger) Warner, and Mary Patnode.She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Larry Jungwirth, and one sister Ruth Miller.A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday April 28, 2015 at 6 p.m. at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Felton officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church and again on Tuesday at the church from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
