Barbara L. Olejnik

Barbara Lou Olejnik, age 81, of Oshkosh, peacefully passed away athome with her family embracing her on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.She was born Oct. 31,1931 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Leo F. and Mary (Jakubiak) Langkau. Barb married Florian D. Olejnik on September 3,1949 in Oshkosh.Florian preceded her in death on December 27, 1974. Barb attended Oshkosh High School and worked as a baker at Countryside in Oshkosh. Her main focus in life was all about family. Her devotion, love and strong will encircled her loved ones. She enjoyed working on her puzzles, bingo, ceramics and listening to her favorite singer, Elvis, all the time.Mom is survived by 6 daughters and 1 son: Paula M. (Dennis) Hansen; Kathy A. (Steve) Berholtz; Patti J. (Thomas Sr.) Guenther; David D. (Ruth) Olejnik; Barbie K. (Russell) Kuhn; Linda S. (Todd) Zak; Diane M. Schmidt. She is survived by her sister Mary Ann (Tom) Figel of Brownsville, Wl; her brother Leo R. Langkau (Carol Stewart) of Oshkosh, her special 12 grandchildren: Kerry Gardiner, Chris Flohr, Angie Berholtz, Matthew Berholtz, Jennifer Guenther, Thomas Guenther Jr., Chad Olejnik, David Jr. Olejnik, Michelle (Kuhn)Tepolt, Duane Kuhn, Tyler Zak, Tanner Zak; and 10 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Florian; sisters Ruth Mitchell and Kathleen Langkau; brothers William, Richard, Joseph and Leonard Langkau; two infant brothers; grandson Jeremy and son-in-law Daryl Schmidt.A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside on Lake Point Drive with Chaplain Mike Williams officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.The family extends heartfelt gratitude to AseraCare Hospice staff, especially Nurse Tammy and Chaplain Mike for their professional and emotional support.Love me tender,Love me long,Take me to your heart.For its there that I belong,And well never part
