Barbara Mae Brand

Barbara M. Brand, 73, Omro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 20, 2017. She was born October 5, 1943, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Oliver and Edith (Block) Kinsler. Barb married Carl G. Brand Jr. on September 29, 1962, in Oshkosh, and he preceded her in death December 17, 2000. Barb enjoyed fishing with Carl, bowling, and spending time with her family. She was a loving caregiver for her family, taking care of her husband and mother prior to their deaths. Her family will miss her dearly.Barb is survived by her daughters: Irene E. Colburn and Ann (Thomas) Mosling; grandchildren: Shannon (Colburn) (Justin) Deuel, Colleen Colburn, and Joshua Colburn; sisters: Loretta Wright and Evelyn (Robert) Hilgemann; her cousin and best friend, Charlotte Schuessler.In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents and Charlottes husband, Roy Schuessler Sr. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, with Rev. Timothy Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be in the Chapel from 5:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
