Beatrice J. Olsen

Beatrice was born to Samuel and Kathryn Sorenson (stepmother: Linda) on February 3, 1933 and died October 8, 2024. 

Beatrice married Ronald Christianson upon their divorce Beatrice married Robert Olsen, upon his death Beatrice became longtime friend to Gerald Bennett.

Beatrice is survived by her children: Gayle Gilchrist, Rev. Carol Christianson, David (Brenda) Christianson, Daniel (Tammy) Christianson and Lisa (Frank) Peerenboom.

Grandmother to Jennifer, Richard (Elise), Jessica; Kimberly, Johnathan (Ashley); Heather, Dustin (Kristen), Teri (Jennifer), Al, Nick (Taylor), Morgan (Lucas), Warren; & Ashlee.

Great Grandmother to Ethan, Claire, Jack, Nora; Jaden, Emma; Landen, Bentley; Tristan, Gavan, Kayleigh, Saylor, Maddyn, Ember, Oliver, Sullivan, Tucker, Dirks, Bailey, Faith, Evie, Millie, Lincoln, James, and Marley.

Great Great Grandmother to Yasani. Beatrice was loved by her many nieces and nephews.

Siblings Axel, Wayne and Elaine and Sylvia preceded Beatrice in death. 

Beatrice loved her family with all her heart and was not happy unless she was cooking for her family and friends, her mantra in life was “I did it my way” up until her very last breath. 

A memorial service for Beatrice will take place at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, 402 Waugoo Ave. on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Rev. Karen Jewell. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park immediately after the service.
