Benjamin Benny G. Langlitz, 96 of Oshkosh died Sunday November 26, 2006 at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation. He was born in Oshkosh on October 13, 1910 the son of John and Elizabeth Hartman Langlitz. On February 1, 1934 he married Leona Behm in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on August 9, 1998. Benny was employed by the Paine Lumber Co. and had served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. He enjoyed time spent with his family, and socializing at the Oshkosh Senior Center. He enjoyed fishing, and watching basketball, baseball, and football on television. He also played cribbage in leagues. He is survived by his daughters, Val (Edward) Womaski and Nannette (Gary) Weigandt, a son, Gene (Norma) Langlitz all of Oshkosh, four grandchildren, Brian Weigandt of Oshkosh, Scott (Lisa) of Womaski of Plymouth, WI, Timothy (Amy) Langlitz and Carolyn Langlitz of Oshkosh, and six great grandchildren, Nicole and Michael Womaski of Plymouth, WI, Quincy Stokes, Trevor, Jared, and Blake Langlitz all of Oshkosh. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Edward and John Langlitz, and a sister, Pauline Bratsch.Bennys funeral will be on Wednesday November 29, 2006 at 11:30 AM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside with the Rev. Darin Wiebe officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Memorials to the Oshkosh Senior Center and Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Northpoint Medical & Rehabititation.
