Bernice M. Clark

Bernice "Bernie" M. Clark, age 96, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Bethel Nursing Home.

Bernice was born on July 8, 1928, to the late Aldor and Ena (Henke) Hinz in Oshkosh. She graduated from high school and worked as a waitress for over 40 years at Oshkosh Power Boat Club. She married Jim Clark on July 10, 1948.

She loved traveling to establishments every Sunday to play cribbage and sheepshead. Bernice and Jim were always going on drives to nowhere in particular. They enjoyed seeing the countryside together. She often spent time in the kitchen cooking and baking. Bernice was known for her pies, french toast and chocolate chip pancakes that her grandkids looked forward to. She was always there to support her family.

Bernice is survived by her son, John (Kim) Clark; grandkids, Craig (Molly) Clark, Jason Clark, Cessy (Brittany) Clark, Amanda (Sam) Wiechman, Jamie and Brian Francart; great-grandkids, Brady, Hunter, Gwennie, Arizona, Malikai, Jaelyn, Keyana, Harper, Bentley, Maverick, and Memphis; sisters-in-law, Anita and Marlene Hinz; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; children, James "Jimmy" Clark, Sandy Francart, Dennis Clark, and Gary Clark; beloved great-grandchild, Madison Sandra Clark; brothers, Ed (Marie) Hinz, Dave and Arden Hinz; sisters, Marge (Pudge) Hyde, Alice (Harv) Western and Betty (Melvin) Matulle.

A memorial service for Bernice will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 1:30pm at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr., Oshkosh. Visitation will begin at 11:30am and continue until the start of the service. A private burial at Lake View Memorial Park will take place.
