Betty Jean Strasser, age 87, entered eternal life on Friday, June 9, 2017, surrounded by her family. Betty was one of five children born to Henry and Clara (Kramer) Tenant in Antigo on July 17, 1929. She married Roland Strasser in Oshkosh on June 8, 1949.

Throughout her life her main focus was on her husband, five children, and grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed flower gardening, and making delicious meals for her family, which included her famous turkey and stuffing for Thanksgiving. She was also known for her pies and cheesecakes which were surpassed by no other. Betty kept busy framing pictures, painting, and drying flowers. Betty and Roland enjoyed weekends near Manitowish Waters in northern Wisconsin.
Betty was loved and will be missed by her husband, Roland, her children, Dawn (Fritz) Richter of Waukesha, James (Patti) Strasser of Oshkosh, Robin (Craig) Whitney of Oshkosh, Collin (Sue) Strasser of Germantown, and Jill (Bill) Radtke of Oshkosh, her sisters: Carol Young and June (Ralph) Rennert of Oshkosh.
