Betty Jane Lemiesz

Betty Jane Lemiesz, 80 of Oshkosh, died on November 20, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on July 6, 1926, a daughter of Anton and Mary Theresa Baier Lemiesz. She married Leo Lemiesz on April 21, 1945 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 1990.Betty had been employed with the Thill Company. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Betty enjoyed crafting, needlepoint, playing Bingo, shopping and most importantly, spending time with all her family.Survivors include four sons, Leo Butch (Vicky) Lemiesz Jr.; Gary (Lucy) Lemiesz,; Dan (Kathie) Lemiesz, Jeff (Sue) Lemiesz, all of Oshkosh; three daughters, Donna (Lawrence) Stratton, Winneconne; Kathy Nimke, Oshkosh; Sharon (Richard) Tollard, Oshkosh; 12 grandchildren, Lawrence (Debbie) Stratton, David (Nicole) Stratton, Denise (Jason) Young, Lori (Brian) McBriar, Scott Lemiesz, Todd Lemiesz, Mandy Lemiesz, Jim (Michelle) Tollard, Kelly (Brett) Tollard, Spencer Michael, and Sara Lemiesz, Heather and Zachery Nimke; nine great grandchildren, Kayla and Travis Stratton, Alyssa, Kailey and Ella Stratton, Tyler Young, Emily and Michael McBriar, and Cole Tollard; Betty is further survived by two brothers, Anton Tony (Katie) Mathe, and Donald (Shirley) Mathe, all of Oshkosh; a special friend, Ginger Nolan, Oshkosh; and a lifelong friend, Ginny Hewitt, of FL. She was preceded in death by twin girls, Mary and Ann; a sister, Loretta Perry, and a brother-in-law, Jack Perry.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Eastside at 6:00 PM with Fr. Robert Kollath officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to the time of service. Inurnment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established. Special thanks to Bettys caregivers, Patty, Stephanie, Judy, Dona and Lori, the staff at the Dialysis Center of Mercy Medical Center, cabulance drivers, Dr. Weber, and Dr. Zornosa for all their care and compassion.
