Betty J. Rusch, 68, of Oshkosh, passed away on May 10, 2007 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc. She was born March 3, 1939 in Milwaukee a daughter of David and Esther (Kirschenstein) Sturtz. On Nov. 25, 1961 she married Eugene Rusch in Fond du Lac and they celebrated 45 years of marriage last November.She was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church and had worked at Bethel Home for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, playing sheephead, collecting angels and salt and pepper shakers, going to tractor shows, spending time with her family and grandchildren and loved her cat Miracle.She is survived by her husband Eugene Rusch Sr., her children Shirley Hyde of Oshkosh, Patty(Dean) Eichhorst of Neenah, Penny(Kenneth) Rock of Janesville, Eugene(Linda) Rusch Jr., of Oshkosh, Marlan(Lisa) Rusch of Berlin, Eileen(Clifford) Hunke of Kaukauna, Timothy(Kari) Rusch of Oshkosh, one sister Bonny(David) Zarbock of Fond du lac, grandchildren Christopher, Adam, Anthony, Jenilee, Cody, Phillip, Stephanie, Zachery, Hunter, Jacob, Dean, Daryl, one sister-in-law Jeanette(Wyman) Boettcher of Athelstane, one brother-in-law Dale Zimmerman of Kiel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law Verna Thronson, one son-in-law David Hyde, and one sister-in-law Carol Jane Zimmerman.Funeral services will be held on Monday May 14, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Gregg Schoeneck officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 3:30 until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Rantoul United Brothren Cemetery in the township of Rantoul-Calumet County.A memorial has been established.
