Betty Katherine Durant

Betty K. Durant, age 78, of Oshkosh, died Monday January 2, 2012 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on June 28, 1933 in North Carolina a daughter of Clay and Lula Agner Correll. On June 7, 1952 she married Jerome Durant in Newport News, VA. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2008.She was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church and had been an administrative clerk at K Mart. She had a great love for her family.She is survived by her children Kathy(Russ) Stang Sr. of Oshkosh, Debbie(Jeff) Englebert of Menasha, Jerry Durant Jr. of Oshkosh, six grandchildren Russ(Jodi) Stang Jr. of Oshkosh, Jennifer(Steve) Dewhurst of Oshkosh, Chanin(Tim) Styka of Menasha, Leigh(Justin) Klatt of Appleton, Chris Englebert of Menasha, Kaylee Durant of Oshkosh, six great-grandchildren McKaylyn, Megan, Gavin, Hunter, Kate, Austin.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother Hubert and one sister Lucille.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday January 5, 2012 at 5 p.m. at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church with Fr. Luke Ferris officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.A memorial has been established in Bettys name. Mom, we were very lucky for God to have given us to you!! You always put our needs before your own. We love you and will miss you!!The family would like to thank Rhonda and Jeremiah for all their help.
