Beverly A. Bethke

Beverly “Bev” A. Bethke, age 89 of Oshkosh, passed away at Ascension Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was born on March 2, 1931 to the late Floyd and Ethel (Covill) Appleby. Bev graduated from Oshkosh High School, and soon after, married Victor Bethke. The couple was joined in marriage on May 5, 1950 in her mother’s home. Their marriage was blessed with four children.
Bev worked for Miles Kimball for over 30 years. She and Victor enjoyed traveling together. Some of their favorite memories were made visiting different casinos. Bev loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, Gary, Doug (Carla), and Keith Bethke; daughter, Lori Leichtfuss; grandchildren, Shelley (Pete), Kevin, Cody, Zach (Carly), Ashley, Derrick, Hunter, Bradley (Jill), Bailey (Jon) and Dillon; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kailee, Scott, Jason, Emma, Elliott and Indy Rose; brother, Ken (Lynn) Appleby; brother-in-law, Tom Blank. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Victor, her brother Floyd Appleby Jr., and sisters, Joyce (Roy) Costello and Marlene Blank.
A funeral service for Bev will take place at 4:00 PM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. Visitation will take place from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Private entombment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
