Beverly Joyce Petersen

Beverly J. Petersen, 82, of Oshkosh, died Friday November 23, 2007 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1925 in Oshkosh the daughter of Harvey and Elsie Bruehmuller Breaker. On June 29, 1946 she married Jack Petersen in Oshkosh.She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ where she was active in the Ladies Guild. Her greatest joy in life was her two daughters.She is survived by her husband Jack, two daughters Barbara(John) Jones of Omro, Jodi Petersen of Neenah, two grandchildren Christopher Roy of Milwaukee, Elizabeth Shaw of Wausau, two great-grandchildren Alex Koppa, Nate Roy, one brother-in-law Larry(Carol) Petersen, one sister-in-law Florence Petersen, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and sister-in-law Donald Duke (Audrey) Breaker, brother in law Billy Petersen, one great-grandson Joey Albee, mother-in-law Esther Petersen-Friedrich, father-in-law Melvin Petersen.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 27, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Pauls United Church of Christ( 1250 Leonard Point Rd.) with Rev. Letha Hauke officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to St. Pauls United Church of Christ.The family would like to thank Aurora Hospice and Dr. Michael Duffy.
