Blair N. Vanden Heuvel

Blair N. Vanden Heuvel, age 45 of Oshkosh, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born on January 3, 1979 to Steven and Lynn (Rusch) Vanden Heuvel.

True to his character, Blair was a dedicated fan of the Bears and Brewers. He found joy in cheering for his beloved teams, often gathering with friends and family to watch games.

Blair had a deep love for sports, particularly soccer and frisbee golf. His free spirit also found solace in the simple pleasures of going for walks and fishing, as he appreciated the beauty of nature and the tranquility it provided.

Beyond his love for sports and the outdoors, Blair possessed a deep spirituality. He believed in the power of faith and found that it served as a guiding light in times of uncertainty.

Blair was a man whose kindness knew no bounds. From a young age, he possessed a genuine compassion for others and constantly sought ways to make a positive impact in their lives. Whether it was offering a helping hand to a stranger or comforting a friend in times of need, Blair's loving nature was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Beyond his kindness, Blair possessed a remarkable sense of humor that could brighten any room. His contagious laughter and witty quips were the highlight of countless gatherings, bringing joy and laughter to people's lives. Blair had a unique ability to find humor in even the most challenging situations, reminding us all to always find a reason to smile.

Blair is survived by his parents, Steven (Pam) Vanden Heuvel and Lynn (Bob) Nelson; grandfathers, Roland (Carol) Rusch and Robert Vanden Heuvel; siblings, Shawna (Brad) Carter, Tara Vanden Heuvel and Taylor (Drew) Bush; niece and nephew Lauren and Jack Carter.

Blair was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Nancy Nelson/Rusch and Anna May Vanden Heuvel.

A private service for Blair will be held.
