Brenda J. Keller, age 73, passed away unexpectedly at Aurora Medical Center on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, with her family at her side. She was born to Raymond and Constance (Rasmussen) Schwerin on October 14, 1948, in Neenah, WI. She married Robert Keller on July 25, 1970, in Neenah. Brenda spent her career working for Outagamie County, as well as the Human Resources Director for International Paper Company. After leaving International Paper Company, Brenda started her own Human Resources Consulting Firm. Brenda loved spending time with her family and going on casino trips with friends. She always had an active and creative mind. Brenda loved to spend hours reading, painting Christmas ornaments, attending an online college art course with her granddaughter, and putting together puzzles. She also enjoyed many FaceTime calls with her granddaughters to stay up to date on their shenanigans (and studies). Brenda's favorite season was Packer's season, and she loved talking about the games with her son. She also loved what was affectionately referred to as "Sister Act," a biweekly and often lengthy phone call with her two sisters. Brenda was also passionate about shopping for, making, and packing items for the Samaritan's Purse – Operation Christmas Child Shoebox. She would spend months collecting clothing, toys, and more for children, packing each box with as many items as possible. This was just one of Brenda's endeavors to leave a lasting positive impact on the world.
Brenda was immediately loved by everyone she met because of her God-given aura that gave them comfort. She was the light of every party, gathering, and event she attended, and she will be missed and preciously remembered by many souls. Brenda asked, "As a tribute to her memory, today, and as often as you think of her, do one nice thing for someone else."
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Robert; son, Todd (Linda) Keller; granddaughters, Jennifer and Cassandra Keller; sisters, Micheele (James) Krueger and Pequitte (John Enzmann) Schwerin, and her nieces and nephews.Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Schwerin and Connie (Schwerin) Mehlberg.
The family wishes to thank Aurora Medical Center's ICU doctors and nurses for their compassionate care and dedication.
A service for Brenda will be held at Lake View Memorial Park (2786 Algoma Blvd) on June 17, 2022, at 12:00 PM. A visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service.
