Brenda L. Halsey

Brenda L. Halsey, age 60 of Oshkosh, passed away at her residence surrounded by family on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born on October 31, 1962 to the late David and Marlene (Rothe) Halsey in Oshkosh.

After graduating from Oshkosh West High School, she began working at Derksen Co. where she retired from after 35+ years of service. She had an overwhelming love for cows, which led to her vast collection of them. Brenda cherished time spent with her soulmate, Mark. She loved following him and his band Reload out on the road, she was always his number one fan. Throughout the years, she always enjoyed attending Rock USA, camping at Pearl Lake, shopping at the Princeton flea markets, and going to the state fair every year.

Brenda is survived by her life partner of 37 years, Mark Miller; siblings, Barry (Dawn) Halsey and Barbie (Robert) Krause; niece, Jamie (Travis) Smithlin; nephew, David Halsey; great-nieces, Alyssah, Abigail, Avah, and Addilyn Smithlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 5:00 PM. Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.

Brenda’s loved ones would like to thank the staff of Mercy Medical Center, the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center, and ThedaCare at Home hospice for the loving care provided to Brenda throughout her battle.
