Brian Dean Kortbein

Brian D. Kortbein, 49, of Oshkosh, died Thursday May 12, 2011 at his home. He was born on October 30, 1961 in Oshkosh a son of Raymond and Clara Neyhard Kortbein. On February 29, 1984 he married Rebecca Phillips in Green Bay. For many years Brian was an appliance repairman. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. He is survived by his wife Becky, one son Cody(special friend Katie), one daughter Cortney (Pat) Wenborg, four brothers, four sisters, two grandchildren Dallas and Mae Mae, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and his dog Shadow.He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog Sky. A memorial service for Brian will be held on Wednesday May 18, 2011 at 7 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside with Rev. Thomas McFarland officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers a memorial in Brians name is being established to the American Cancer Society.The family would like to thank Dr. Phyllis Lee.
