Brian Jones

Brian Jones passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. Brian was born on January 18, 1959 to Carl and Janet (Kruger) Jones in North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. A jack of all trades, Brian worked as a prison guard, cheese greaser, sawmill worker and a number of other jobs before spending 22 years as a science teacher in Kaukauna. He loved biking, ham radios, hunting (bow and gun), ice fishing, and spending any time he could in nature - but his greatest passion in life was people. He was a devoted father, a loving brother, a caring friend, and a dedicated teacher.

He is survived by his daughters, Haley (Zach Rutz) Jones and Jenna (Josh) Folchert; granddaughter, Sylvia Jones Rutz; sisters, Gail (Jim) Patt and Kathy Jones; brothers, Jeff Jones and Jason (Lisa) Jones; and many nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as his beloved dog Duke. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Janet (Kruger) Jones, and his brother, Dan Jones.

In lieu of funeral services, the family will host a Celebration of Life at Holiday's Pub & Grill in Neenah on October 19, 2024 from 11 am - 2 pm, with a casual memorial service at noon. All are welcome to remember Brian as he was in life.
