Bruce Austin Allen

Bruce A. Allen, 55, Oshkosh died unexpectedly at his residence on Friday April 11, 2008. He was born in Oshkosh on July 17, 1952, a son of Byron and Ruby Owen Allen.Bruce was employed in the maintenance department at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. He enjoyed spending time with friends, playing cards, chess and listening to music.Leaving to mourn his death is his mother Ruby Hartman, daughter, Angela Allen, and step-father, Glen Hartman, all of Oshkosh; a sister Doris (Curt) Schnese, Menasha; a niece Tammy Allen, Neenah; a nephew, Todd Allen, Neenah; many cousins and friends. Two who were special, Bob Beyer and Joe Frost, both of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his father, Byron Allen, two brothers, Daniel and Gary Allen.Visitation and funeral services will be held in private, officiated bt Rev. Jeff Knoll. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. We will all miss his laughter
