Bruce William Grundy

Bruce W. Grundy Sr. age 79, of Oshkosh, died at St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee on Thursday, January 13, 2011. He was born in Oshkosh on August 5, 1931, son of the late Dean L. and Jennie Scheer Grundy Sr. Bruce married Vivian J. Neustifter on September 3, 1960 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2009.Bruce had been employed with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and Oshkosh Masonic Lodge #27 F. & A.M. and the Lakeshore Club. Bruce loved spending time with his family and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.Survivors include one son, Bruce W. Grundy Jr. of Lafayette, IN; his children, Emily and Joseph Grundy; one daughter, Gail (Eric) Zimmerman, of Brookfield, her children, Vincent, William and Anna Zimmerman; one brother, Dean L. (June) Grundy of Roscommon, MI; one brother-in-law, John (Isabel) Neustifter of Oshkosh; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian and his parents.Funeral services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside on Monday, January 17, 2011, at 6:00 PM with the Rev. John Hobbins officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to the time of service. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.
