Burnette Viola Abraham

Burnette V. Abraham, 95, of Oshkosh, died Saturday morning May 2, 2009 at Sterling House. She was born on August 3, 1913 in Eldorado a daughter of Robert and Ida Bloedow Tabbert. On August 15, 1936 she married Norman Abraham in Van Dyne. He preceded her in death her on April 23, 2009.She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church where she was an active member in her younger days. She loved African Violets and enjoyed photography and journaling her photos.She is survived by her two sons, Robert Abraham of Manitowoc, David (Judy) Abraham of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Quinn (Ane) Abraham, Valerie (Scott) Muller, Chad Abraham all of Omaha, Brent Abraham of Verona; two step-grandchildren, Kathi (Pete) Koenig of Milwaukee, Anita (Jeff) Byrne of Appleton; great-grandchildren Skylar Muller, Landon Muller, Noelle Muller, Shayla Muller, Sawyer Muller, Autumn Muller, Alysha Abraham, Kylene Abraham, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Edward Tabbert; two sisters, Erna Janowski, and Grace Weber.Funeral services will be held on Friday May 8, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Eric Quinney-Burnard officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established to Christ Lutheran Church.The family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home and Sterling House.
