Candace Colleen Nelson

Candace C. Nelson, 38, of Ripon, died Sunday December 7, 2008 at her residence. She was born April 26, 1970 in Oshkosh a daughter of Jay and Mary Wait Potratz. On Aug 25, 1990 she married Chuck Nelson in Oshkosh.She was a member of Wyldewood Baptist Church. She was a godly mother of five children and had a passion for the Lord and her love of Christ was demonstrated through her children. She enjoyed doing many activities with her children including home schooling, teaching music, and traveling. She was a business partner with her husband in Quality Paint and Coating and aided him in any endeavor.She is survived by her husband Chuck, three daughters Vanessa Jane, Ginelle Elizabeth, Kayla Anne, two sons Jared Charles, Emmanuel David, her father Jay(Nanci) Potratz of Omro, three sisters April Dawn Potratz of Neenah, Jayne Marie(Steve) Parry of Winneconne, Lisa Jane(Peter) Mannenbach of Green Bay, three brothers Randy(Wanda) Potratz of Neimey, Niger, Africa, Richard(Rita) Potratz of Omro, Wesley(Lorie) Potratz of Omro, her father-in-law Howard(Diana) Nelson of Crivitz.She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Elizabeth Potratz, and mother in-law Virginia Lou Nelson.Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Wyldewood Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Vetter officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 10, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside and on Thursday at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
