Carl Frank Dreyer

Carl F. Cully Dreyer, 77 of Oshkosh died at Bethel Home on Thursday, May 3, 2007. Carl was born in Oshkosh, on March 31, 1930, a son of the late Carl and Bernice Steinert Dreyer. He married Geneva J. Griedl on June 20, 1953 in Oshkosh.Carl was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. He served his country in the Wisconsin National Guard. Carl worked for the railroad, Apell Tile and for the Oshkosh School system as a Custodian for 34 years. Carl had a passion for aluminum cans, loved to garden, tell jokes, home remedies, teach the kids how to play cribbage, and he was the very best French Toast maker.Survivors include his wife, Geneva Dreyer, son Scott Dreyer, daughters, Becky (Denny) Stark, and Michelle (David) Rueger, three grandsons, Eric, Brad, and Michael Rueger all of Oshkosh, cousins, Marty and Bonnie Kluge, Tami, Tracy, Brian, and Nickie, Ethel Buchanan, and Clarence Schnell, granddogs, Molly and Muffin. Also survived by brother/in/law, Dale Harvey, niece Kelly Walker, great nephews, Evan and Dillon Walker, great niece Jessie Walker of Hemet CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Bernice, brother, Gerald, sister, Joan Patsy, father/in/law and mother/in/law, George and Ruby, and sister/in/law Nancy Harvey.A memorial service for Carl will be held on Tuesday, May 8 2007 at 7:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Timothy Greenwald officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.A special thank you to all of his friends, neighbors, Bethel Home, and all the doctors who took care of him. A special thanks to Dr. Brescia for 21 years of care, Dr. Alnouri, Dr. Andrasko, and the Rehab girls at Bethel Home.
